In the early 1990s Mark Levinson’s classic No. 30 reference processor was hailed as the new sonic benchmark, an achievement that signalled digital sound’s “coming of age.” In 1993 with the arrival of the No. 31 reference CD transport, Mark Levinson was able to offer the world’s finest digital playback system.
