The Hoody is a 60 minute fire rated acoustic speaker hood designed to be used with a wide range of in-ceiling speakers. Each model is made of a tough fire rated fabric casing allowing it to be installed quickly in both retrofit and new-build installations. In addition to its fire rating the Hoody also helps to reduce sound transfer between floors.
To simplify selection the two sizes have been tested as compatible with virtually every SpeakerCraft, Proficient and Emphasys in-ceiling speaker.
