The Performa M22 is a two-way monitor whose performance belies its compact dimensions.
Owing much of its technology to the highly respected Ultima range, the new Performa M22 utilises a completely new driver array and cabinet design.
The M22’s 6.5” Bass Unit and 1” Tweeter utilise high-grade Neodymium magnets combined with Organic Ceramic Composite cone material, flux stabilisation rings and improved motor structure venting. These elements together with a sophisticated crossover network provide the M22 with an extremely wide frequency response, very low distortion and high output capability.
In common with the larger Performa designs, the M22 includes a low frequency compensation switch for speaker placement near a wall, within a media wall, or for placement in a room that boosts the low frequency output. The high frequency output level can also be adjusted for in-room response tailoring. Highly effective magnetic shielding enables the M22 to be placed near a video monitor
The M22’s driver complement and rounded baffle edge design provide an exceptionally wide and accurate off-axis response, making it ideal for both stereo and home theatre applications.
All Performa models are individually hand-tuned to approach the reference standard to within a fraction of a decibel, providing a very high level of unit-to-unit consistency.
The M22 is available in three natural wood veneers: Maple, Cherry, and Black Ash.
