AV Racks’ new AV Classic is a heavy duty and stylish range of cabinets designed to give maximum installation access and a professional fit and finish.
Four open-frame 14 gauge steel pre-threaded profiles are securely bolted to a vented top and cabinet base. Lockable and removable side panels ensure ready cable access while a lockable glass panelled door allows visible confirmation of equipment operation.
Heat dissipation is an important but often under-resourced aspect of rack design. Many intermittent problems are incorrectly diagnosed as equipment rather than installation based. All AV Racks’ shelves are vented ensuring optimum equipment cooling. Where natural convection cannot provide sufficient cooling , AV Racks’ Cool Racks components provide a complete active ventilation solution.
The AV Classic is provided as standard 600mm wide x 800mm deep. An 800mm wide x 800mm wide version is also available. Optional heavy duty castors allow the Classic cabinet to be moved easily whilst a plinth can be used to raise the cabinet from the floor.
Many basic rack systems rely on the installer’s ingenuity and a bag of cable ties as the only means of cable management! AV Racks has designed a range of effective cable management options, ensuring that your installations are both fast and well presented. Cable trays, specifically designed for the Classic rack, can be mounted to the sides of the inner cage allowing clear access to the back of the equipment. One option now includes a new vented shelf with cable management cut-outs.
Vertical and horizontal Power Distribution Units are also available, ranging from six-way to twelve-way units. All are designed to be mounted directly to the back or side of each rack.
An extensive range of facia templates, side panels and custom cut options complete this elegant equipment cabinet.
With seven cabinet heights ranging from 18U (99cm) to 45U (229cm), AV Racks’ new Classic rack will ensure that all installations can be completed quickly and to the highest standard.
