Custom designed for the AV installation market and manufactured in the UK, AV Racks’ new Rollarak will ensure that all installations can be completed to the highest standard while reducing both installation time and service callouts.
Many installers have hitherto relied conventional hi-fi or comms racks, as until now, alternatives have been either too expensive or too basic for their requirements. AV Racks’ Rollarak has been designed with the particular requirements of home theatre and multi-room installations in mind.
For a more robust structure is required for home theatre; a large multi-channel AV amplifier will bend the shelves of the average comms rack! The Rollarak is made entirely of high quality 14 gauge steel (most use thinner 16 gauge). A solid top and base is bolted to four threaded upright profiles. Pre-threaded profiles simplify rack build and promote faster installation times. Heavy duty castors give complete freedom in rack location and wiring accessibility
Good heat dissipation is essential to rack design. Many intermittent problems are incorrectly diagnosed as coming from the equipment rather than the installation. All Rollarak shelves are vented for optimum equipment cooling. Where natural convection cannot provide sufficient cooling, AV Racks’ Cool Racks components provide a complete active ventilation solution. The new Rollarak’s optional solid side panels can also be beneficial in optimising the cooling dynamics of the rack.
The installer’s ingenuity and a bag of cable ties are often the only available means of cable management within the average rack. AV Racks’ has designed a range of effective cable management options, ensuring that your installations are both fast and well presented.
Vertical and horizontal Power Distribution Units are also available, ranging from six-way to twelve-way units. All are designed to be mounted directly to the back or side or each rack.
