2U - 48 Port RJ45 Cat5 Patch Panel
Clarity in wiring and the avoidance of possible interference make for good custom installation practice when designing any rack layout. AV Racks’ Cat5 Patch Panels are designed to greatly simplify the termination and routing of large numbers of Cat 5 data cables.
Available in 24 or 48 port versions each patch panel mounts directly to the profiles of a Rollarak, Classic Cabinet, Wall Cabinet, Termination Cabinet or Termination Box.
On its front are standard RJ45 sockets with space for identification labels. At the rear are IDC punch-down terminals that will accept 22 to 26AWG solid and stranded wires. ‘At a glance’ colour coding aids in either TIA-EIA-568A or B network configurations.
Each patch panel is tested to Gigabit Ethernet (1000BaseT) standards allowing all network speeds to be fully supported.
