Conventionally connecting cables have to be cut to specific lengths determined by the position of each component within the rack. The question then is how much spare cable do you allow and how do you hide the excess? Also what happens should you need to replace or relocate components at a later date? With a patch panel, a rack can be completely wired away from the wiring hub, and then connected together at the last moment.
AV Racks’ Combination AV Panel greatly simplifies the termination and routing of speaker and video cables in a multi-room system. Six zones can be accommodated within each panel.
Four F-Type connectors are also included for aerial and satellite signals.
