Triple LED (RGB) - Full HD 1080p DLP Projector - Up To 100,000 hours of use.

The kroma projector occupies the very forefront of projector illumination technology. In the place of the conventional UHP lamp, three LED light sources provide colour accuracy of the highest order. With an anticipated lifespan of between 50,000 and 100,000 hours (11 years), LED will extend dramatically the uninterrupted enjoyment of the projector.

Sharing the chassis and optical assembly of the optix model, the kroma‘s full HD 1080 DLP® design offers maximum installation flexibility combined with minimal maintenance.

The key to its strength is its triple LED (RGB) light architecture with ReaLED™ technology, which ensures absolute colour purity and very long life. Although kroma utilises a single DLP chipset, its independent RGB illumination removes the need for a colour wheel, further enhancing image quality and perceived picture stability.

A TI™ 1920 x 1080 DC4 DLP® panel with pixelworks™ image processing ensures maximum detail retrieval while no fewer than six lens options, ranging from 0.79 – 6.50:1 (all with motorised lens shift) allow all image sizes and room shapes to be accommodated. In addition two motorised anamorphic lens systems allow 2.35:1 Blu-ray content to be fully displayed.
When either is in place, a 2.35:1 image can be reproduced utilising the full panel resolution but without black bars.

Connectivity includes two HDMI 1.3 compatible inputs, component video and VGA inputs. Digital Pixel Equalization (DPEq ) circuitry is employed to allow the use of standard HDMI cables up to 30m in length at full 1080p resolution.

To simplify day-to-day operation, multiple control options are provided including LAN (TCP/IP), RS232, IR input, screen and aspect ratio triggers.
